NEW Revlon PhotoReady Perfecting Primer

I came across the New Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer ($14.79) at my local CVS when I saw all the amazing new Revlon products all nicely displaced as soon as you walk in!
I already made a blogpost for the New Revlon Photoready 3D Volume Mascara that you can see here.

This primer is fantastic if you need a nice matte canvas. I enjoy my glow primers once in awhile that give sheen and radiance. But, when I have a foundation that already does that I enjoy using a primer that is matte first. This primer is milky white which turns clear when you apply to your face. It has a nice smooth, satin feel to it.

It has a really easy to use pump that has great control if you do not want to use a full pumps worth of primer. I use one full pump and a half. I highly recomment this if you are looking for a good matte primer to control shine/oilyness throughout the day. I literally only have to tough up at the end of my work day which is around 6pm. And since I do not have alot of time to run to the bathroom to touch up during work this is a great product to use, so I do not have to worry about any shine.

Makeup collection at a glance

I have come to realize that my makeup collection/stash has become a bit insane and needs some major organizing! Take a peek with me as I show you my collection now. It is really nothing special. It is probably every OCD persons nightmare. lol The first pic is my lipgloss stash. All I have for storage right now is a tall, plastic container on wheels in my bathroom and some shelves if they aren't taken over by towels and/or sheets.

                                                                         (Lip stash)

Misc. draw
(Blush/Bronzers/Tinted moisterizers/ concealers)

(Eyeliners/shade sticks/gel liners/eye primers/cream shadows/single eyeshadows)

(Mascaras)

(Main Blush/Bronzer draw)

(A Part of my wall cabinet is home to my foundations and face primers/moisterizers)

How overwhelming is this for you guys because it is reallly overwhelming for me. I am an organized person outside of my makeup. That is why 2012 is the year for organizing all aspects of my life. Starting with my makeup. I have already started to order some fun containers and such. This will be a longggg process for sure. But, I am ready and taking it one lipgloss at a time!!!

Calvin Klein Chelsea Quilt Crossbody Bag

I saw this bag on zappos.com and fell in love !! It is so universal. It can be used as a clutch by removing the chain strap, a crossbody bag or on one shoulder.

The clasp makes it very easy to make this crossbag into a clutch!

The quilt fabric is so cute and fashionable. I love the clasp and the fact that even though it's small it can fit a lot . It has a main compartment with a zipper, a slip section in the front with a zipper section right behind it before the main section. Great to use as a clutch for a night out or on one shoulder for a dinner date out !

Found on Zappos.com in black..$87.99 Originally..$98.00

Origins Clear Improvement Charcoal Mask

I went to my Origins in my local mall to get some more of my favorite moisturizer, VitaZing SPF 15, and as I was speaking to the sales lady she recommended to me this charcoal mask.. I have pores that I want to vanish and blackheads that I need to have disappear. She said this is the best thing!

It is White China Clay that absorbs into your skin, hardens, tightens, like I could literally feel the pores shrink as the mask was drying and getting harder... I kept it on for about 10 minutes.. You need to let it completely dry.. In the first few minutes it felt cooling then it gets hard and tight. You will notice, once it is completely dry, little cracks. That is when you know it is time to remove . Take a warm, wet cloth to remove the clay.

I was very impressed with the results. My pores were smaller and black heads, while not all of them were completely gone, the majority were. My face looked smoother and flawless.. I am deff going to continue using this mask at least once a week!!

Price of Origins Clear Improvement mask...$22

New Revlon PhotoReady 3D Volume Mascara

I am so excited that Revlon has come out with new products for 2012!!!

I found this mascara a few days ago in my CVS and almost passed out with excitement!!!

The Formula is great !!! It gives length and grabs every lash. The wand has soft bristles and has a little group of spikes at the very top to grab the inner most lashes.. It reminds me a lot of the Benefit They're Real wand, except the Benefit wand has short rubber bristles where the Revlon bristles are softer..

Benefit They're Real is to the left. Revlon Photoready 3D Volume is to the right.
The price of the mascara is $10.49.. A bit pricey for a drugstore mascara , but I highly recommend it!!

New 2012 drugstore finds !!!

So I'm writing this from my iPhone through the blogger app! Let's see if this works!!!

I was just at my local CVS to pick up some boring items like cotton balls and cotton pads when I walk in and see a set up for New Revlon items.. Well I nearly freaked out. I went over and saw a new face primer, new eye primer, new 3D photo ready mascara, new face sculpting palettes, and new eye shadow palettes..... I almost died.. Oh and a new mousse air brush foundation!!! Revlon is really on its game this new year!

Along with Revlon, Rimmel had a new mega mascara that has a nice fat brush and claims to grab all clumps and give great volume .. Cannot wait to test that out !!!

I also grabbed a new Cover Girl 24 hour mascara, one of maybelline's new gel cream shadows in a really desirable taupe shade and one of the Revlon lip butters in cupcake .. Did not think I would jump on the lip butter craze bc I heard mixed reviews, but Jessica from Beautizene did a review on Cupcake and I loved how it looked.

Here is the breakdown on prices
1. Maybelline Eye studio 24 hr eyeshadow ( Tough as Taupe) ...$7.99
2. Revlon Lip Butter (Cupcake)...$8.49
3.Revlon PhotoReady Perfecting Primer...$14.79
4.Revlon PhotoReady 3D Volume mascara...$10.49
5. Revlon PhotoReady Eye Primer...$11.49
6. Revlon PhotoReady Sculpting Blush Palette...$14.79
7. Rimmel Volume Flash ScandalEyes mascara...$7.99
8. Cover Girl Lash Blast 24 hr...9.99

I still need to get the Cover Girl/ Olay new foundation with the pump and the Revlon Mousse Air Brush Foundation..

Cover girl also has a new liquid eye liner I saw that I really would like to try!!

Okay enough with my rant .. If you were looking for new drugstore makeup I highly suggest you try our some of these new items !!

Video and reviews to follow :)
