CoverGirl Lash Blast 24 Hour

I have been using this mascara for quite some time now and I am in love with this product. It is very similar to the original lash blast in the sense that it lengthens and volumes the same . This formula makes my lashes a bit more dramatic ,so I tend to use it more at night when I go out .. You can get this at any Drugstore near you..
Let me know what you think of it!!!

Revlon PhotoReady Eye Primer

A new item from Revlon is the PhotoReady Eye Primer...It has a twist bottom to make the product come up through the bristles up top .. My only dislike about this is, like a lot of other products that twist, a lot can come out. So I tend to use my fingers to apply the product ..
Other than that I really enjoy this product. It is skin toned and blends into the eye area easily. I've used my MAC shadows, urban decay shadows and cream shadows with the Revlon primer and it's holds them in place well. I have not experienced any creasing or fading of color when using this primer ..
I found this at my CVS for $11.49.If you have tried this primer, let me know your thoughts !!!!

Garnier Skin Renew Anti-Dark Circle Roller

I love this product! The Garnier Skin Renew Anti-Dark Circle roller with a hint of concealer is my absolute favorite product. I do not have dark circles under my eyes, but I love to use this to help depuff my eyes in the morning and slightly conceal. It is the perfect coverage for me and it works!!!
I foumd this at my CVS for $12.99, but you can get it whereever drugstore products are sold!

NEW Revlon PhotoReady Perfecting Primer

I came across the New Revlon Photoready Perfecting Primer ($14.79) at my local CVS when I saw all the amazing new Revlon products all nicely displaced as soon as you walk in!
I already made a blogpost for the New Revlon Photoready 3D Volume Mascara that you can see here.

This primer is fantastic if you need a nice matte canvas. I enjoy my glow primers once in awhile that give sheen and radiance. But, when I have a foundation that already does that I enjoy using a primer that is matte first. This primer is milky white which turns clear when you apply to your face. It has a nice smooth, satin feel to it.

It has a really easy to use pump that has great control if you do not want to use a full pumps worth of primer. I use one full pump and a half. I highly recomment this if you are looking for a good matte primer to control shine/oilyness throughout the day. I literally only have to tough up at the end of my work day which is around 6pm. And since I do not have alot of time to run to the bathroom to touch up during work this is a great product to use, so I do not have to worry about any shine.

New Revlon PhotoReady 3D Volume Mascara

I am so excited that Revlon has come out with new products for 2012!!!

I found this mascara a few days ago in my CVS and almost passed out with excitement!!!

The Formula is great !!! It gives length and grabs every lash. The wand has soft bristles and has a little group of spikes at the very top to grab the inner most lashes.. It reminds me a lot of the Benefit They're Real wand, except the Benefit wand has short rubber bristles where the Revlon bristles are softer..

Benefit They're Real is to the left. Revlon Photoready 3D Volume is to the right.
The price of the mascara is $10.49.. A bit pricey for a drugstore mascara , but I highly recommend it!!

New 2012 drugstore finds !!!

So I'm writing this from my iPhone through the blogger app! Let's see if this works!!!

I was just at my local CVS to pick up some boring items like cotton balls and cotton pads when I walk in and see a set up for New Revlon items.. Well I nearly freaked out. I went over and saw a new face primer, new eye primer, new 3D photo ready mascara, new face sculpting palettes, and new eye shadow palettes..... I almost died.. Oh and a new mousse air brush foundation!!! Revlon is really on its game this new year!

Along with Revlon, Rimmel had a new mega mascara that has a nice fat brush and claims to grab all clumps and give great volume .. Cannot wait to test that out !!!

I also grabbed a new Cover Girl 24 hour mascara, one of maybelline's new gel cream shadows in a really desirable taupe shade and one of the Revlon lip butters in cupcake .. Did not think I would jump on the lip butter craze bc I heard mixed reviews, but Jessica from Beautizene did a review on Cupcake and I loved how it looked.

Here is the breakdown on prices
1. Maybelline Eye studio 24 hr eyeshadow ( Tough as Taupe) ...$7.99
2. Revlon Lip Butter (Cupcake)...$8.49
3.Revlon PhotoReady Perfecting Primer...$14.79
4.Revlon PhotoReady 3D Volume mascara...$10.49
5. Revlon PhotoReady Eye Primer...$11.49
6. Revlon PhotoReady Sculpting Blush Palette...$14.79
7. Rimmel Volume Flash ScandalEyes mascara...$7.99
8. Cover Girl Lash Blast 24 hr...9.99

I still need to get the Cover Girl/ Olay new foundation with the pump and the Revlon Mousse Air Brush Foundation..

Cover girl also has a new liquid eye liner I saw that I really would like to try!!

Okay enough with my rant .. If you were looking for new drugstore makeup I highly suggest you try our some of these new items !!

Video and reviews to follow :)

~Mini Drugstore Haul 2/11/11~

I literally just got back from the CVS and I couldnt wait to post this!!!! I found some really fun products and needed to share with you guys asap. :)
The Burt"s Bees Radiance Healthy Glow Kit is my favorite purchase out of everything !!!! It cost  $7.49.   Inside you get...
- Radiance Body lotion ( I have this in the full size and love ittt :) )
-Radiance Body wash
-Radiance Bar soap
-Radiance Day cream
-Radiance Night cream
-Radiance Eye cream
-Radiance Lip shimmer
I am super excited to try all these out and let you guys know how it all turns out !!

Next, I purchased my first Rimmel lipstick in 220 Pink Chic. Here it is swatched on my hand. Not the greatest swatch. It is more pink than it appears in the picture.
It cost $8.99

The last item that I snatched up is the Revlon Custom Eyes Palette in 010 Seet Innocence.
This cost $7.89

I really like how on the back it gives you a diagram on where all the colors can be placed on the eye.

The colors are in order 1 though 5, so it is a really easy diagram to follow!!! Can't wait to try this out. If I like it there is another one I think I may purchase.

Hope you all enjoyed my little CVS haul....Also they have a new beauty club rewards program. If you already have a CVS Extra Care card you can just add the beauty club onto that. Once you spend $50 on beauty products, which includes hair care products, you receive $5 in extra bucks!!! I reached my $50 dollar mark, so I can;t wait to use my extra bucks..Hmm, what shoud I spend it on?????

~Eyes Lips Face (ELF) Haul~

Hey Everyone!!!!
A few days ago I received my ELF order in the mail. You can order from the website at http://www.eyeslipsface.com/ or check out your local Target because they carry some ELF products :) If you are not familiar with ELF cosmetics. The regular line costs $1. The Studio line cost $3 and the Mineral line costs $5.

Online, ELF was having an awesome sale!! All lip products were 50% off plus I had a $25 gift certificate from my sister for my birthday, so I had to snatch some stuff up!!!!

The first item I bought I wanted for awhile. It is The Beauty Encyclopedia Face Edition.

Inside you get 4 shimmer creams, 4 concealers, 1 bronzer, 1 blush and 1 face brush. Also a helpful guide on how to achieve a flawless, glowing, radiant face!
The Face Encyclopedia is $5.

Next, I picked up a few items from the ELF dollar line. Now, even though these products only cost one dollar, the quality of them are very impressive.

Tinted Moisterizers

I purchased two. One is shade 6001 Apricot Beige and the other in shade 6007 Rosy Beige. Both look like they can work with my complextion. Now, I know itis small packaging, but from what I hear, you do not need a lot of product and since it only cost me $1 I am fine with the amount given. Once I test out the tinted moisterizer I will do a review !!!

Shimmering Facial Whip
I bought two shades. One in 1204 Camilla and the other in 1205 Lilac Petal. These are great for highlghting cheek bones, adding shimmer under the brow bone or in the inner corner. Just a small amount gives the nicest sheen to your face!

Hypershine Lipgloss

I bought two shades. One in 9013 Joy (purplish pink) and 9011 Fairy (pink pearl). These do have the brush applicators, so you have to twist the bottom a few times until the product comes out on top.

Plumping Lip Glaze

I know these two look almost identical, but I purchased 2911 Wink Pink ( true baby pink) and 2908 Baby Doll ( pink with irredescent sparkle). These also come with a second gloss which is clear that makes your lips appear more plump. You apply the lipgloss first that layer the clear gloss on top to create a fuller lip.

Natural Radiance Blush

I purchased this inshade 2302 Glow, I absolutly love this blush!! I had it once before, but i dropped it and it cracked into a million pieces :(
But, now that I have a new one I will be extra careful. I only wish it came bigger packaging. Also you have to slide the top open and that can be a bit tough, but all in all I love this blush. It gives the nicest coral cheek.

*The next few items are from the ELF studio line. Everything in this line costs $3

Lip Liner and Blending Brush
I purchases shade 82201 Natural. On one end is the lip liner and the other end is a brush to even out the product onto the lips.

Matte Lip Color
NEW ITEM

This is a new item from the ELF studio line. I have the shade 82463 Tea Rose. I did try to order all the colors. There are four in total. Tea Rose, Coral, Natural, and Praline. The last three colors were available on the site, however, the warehouse where my order shipped from was out of the other Matte colors. So I am bummed, but maybe they will be at Target!!!

Under Eye Concealer and Highlighter

I purchased the shade light 81502. I am excited to try this out because I have been a concealer binge lately and this one lookes like it can be very good! The reviews on the site were positive. So, oviously I would use the concealer end for the under eye area and the glow end for highlighting the brow bone or inner corner. The glow end can also be used as an eye shadow base.

Conditioning Lip Balm SPF 15/ Cream eyeshadow

The lip balm is on the left in shade Peaceful Pink. The eyeshadow on the right is in Dawn.
These containers are very large!! So I compared these products to popular MAC products that are similar. First, notice the size.
packaging could have a been made a bit smaller!!!! hehe
I compared the MAC lip conditioning to the ELF lip Balm. Just for comparison reason.

Now the Cream eyeshadow compared to the MAC Bare Study paint pot.

The amount of product is practically the same, but the ELF packaging is more bulky.

Next, I purchased one item from the Mineral Line. This cost $5.

Mineral Eye Brightner

I purchased this because I own the Bare Essentials Well rested and  want to do a comparison. This can be used in the under eye area after you put on your concealer.

Last, but certainly not least . One of my favorite ELF products. The makeup remover wipes. These cost $3.

I love these sooooo much!!!! They work so well and take off alll of my makeup :) Plus, they smell amazing

Hope you all enjoyed my haul !!!

~Aussie's Deep Three Minute Miracle ~

I have never been so in love with a conditioner in all my life! This is indeed a true miracle for my hair. After I shampoo I take between a dime to nickle size in my palm and lather only the ends of my hair. That is the area where i have most knots and lack moister. I leave in for 2-3 minutes then rinse.
After I rinse out the conditioner I can already feel the smoothness of my hair. It feels like silk! I do this routine about once every couple of days, but since it is not a heavy deep conditioner I would say that you can use this everyday.
This can be found in your local drugstore and only costs a few dollars. I wouldnt even think of looking into any expensive deep conditioners because this stuff is great!
